We at Lumina Concepts Lighting aims to give you, our client, smooth and stress free transaction that’s why we urge you to read the following carefully as this will serve as a reminder and official agreement as you have decided to purchase our products.
1.) You as our Client/s, Architects, and Interior designers must be 101% SURE that you will be placing an order. A change of your mind when the order arrives or is placed with our partners overseas, does not entitle you a refund or exchange.
2.) Cancellation of orders when it arrives at the shop, has a down payment or fully paid, will not be honoured.
TERMS OF PAYMENT:
• On hand items – 100% payment before delivery (extra charges will apply) or pick-up
• Express/Expedited Items/ Showers/Bathroom Accessories/Bidets/Faucets/Drains/Selected Downlight Housings and bulbs – 100% payment with the additional fee and delivery fee (if applicable).
• Made to order or Pre-order items:
*Lighting items (Chandeliers, Drop/Pendant Light, Wall Sconces, Floor Lamps, Table Lamps, Heating Lamps, T5/T8,
Selected Down light housings, Outdoor Lighting and Barn doors) – FULL PAYMENT UPON ORDERING.
Upon arrival of orders, balance must be paid within 30 days. Purchase will be forfeited and down payment will not be returned if it exceeds that said time frame.
A. Orders and Specifications
1.) No order placed by the Buyer shall be deemed to be accepted by the company until the company sends a Quotation or Order Form at which point and on which date the contract shall come into existence. Client will be asked to request a quotation via email.
2.) Any order for, or any statement of intent to purchase goods or any assent for company to perform lighting design work or be provided with lighting design from buyer shall constitute assent to these terms and conditions.
3.) No Verbal orders will be accepted from Buyer until a written order placed by buyer has been accepted by the company; the contract will then come into existence subjected to these conditions.
4.) All Orders should be sent by email and should state the Buyer’s relevant order number and company’s quotation. Inquiries can be via social media platforms however, finalised orders must be discussed in email. Any clarifications made through telephone/cell phone must be clarified via email as well for record.
5.) It’s the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that Order acknowledgement and other related documents are accurate. Any Typographical, clerical or other accidental errors in any Sales literature, Quotation, Acceptance of Order Acknowledgement, invoice or other documents or information issued by the company shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the company.
1.) The description of the Goods shall be as set out in the Company’s Catalogue and website. The buyer acknowledges and agrees that all descriptive matter and advertising issued by the company and any descriptions or illustrations contained in the company documentation are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the Goods described in them. They will not form part of this Contract, nor be relied upon by the buyer when entering into this agreement.
2.) The company reserves the right to amend or change specification datasheets, brochures, website and the company’s price list without notice. The Buyer must ensure that the goods ordered are suitable for the intended purpose before commencing installation, bulk production or purchasing. If items ordered does not fit at the actual site, the company will not be held liable if sizes are provided. If not indicated at website or quotation, client has the right to ask the company for the dimensions before placing and finalising orders.
There is an additional fee for delivery. Ask our sale’s specialist regarding the fee upon request of quotation.
The buyer must check the goods upon receipt and report any damage, loss or unsatisfactory condition on the enclosed Delivery note. The Company shall at its discretion, repair or replace free of charge any goods damaged or lost in transit, provided that that the company receives written notice of such damage or loss within 48 hours of delivery. If not, all items will be deemed in good condition.
1.) The Goods are at the risk of the Buyer once delivery is completed and no damage report is made.
2.) Ownership of the Goods shall not pass to the Buyer until the Company has received full payment or cleared funds all sums due to it from the Buyer on any account.
1.) Unless otherwise agreed by the Company in writing (and except in cases of obvious error) The price for the Goods set out in the company’s price list are net, inclusive of VAT and DO NOT include delivery charge unless quoted.
2.) Unless otherwise stated all prices quoted will be valid for a period of 30 days only from its date of issue. Quotations are not binding on the company until an order has been accepted.
3.) Where the Company and the Buyer agree a discount in respect of the Company’s price list any such discount will only apply where confirmed in a quotation.
4.) The Company reserves the right, to amend or change the price list without notice. This is to reflect any increase in the cost to the Company. This could be due to an increase in labour or production.
F. Force Majeure
1.) The Company reserves the right to defer the date of delivery if it is prevented from or delayed in the carrying on of its business due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Company including without limitation acts of God, governmental actions, war or national Emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire explosion, flood, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other about disputes (whether or not relating to either party’s workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials.
2.) The company shall have no liabilities for any loss, damage or delay in transit or any extra charges due to these occurrences.
1.) Lighting Items – 6 months limited warranty for electrical/wiring. Discoloration not included as items are guaranteed rust proof. (Free bulbs not included)
2.) Separate Purchased Bulbs – 6 months warranty. (Free bulbs not included)
3.) Showers / Faucets / Bathroom Accessories / Drains – 6 months limited warranty for leaks only. Discoloration not included as items are guaranteed rustproof.
